Double Hammock

If you want more than one person to enjoy the relaxation of being in a hammock you either need two of them or you need one that supports two people. Fortunately they make just such a thing, it's called a double hammock.

They come in a wide variety of styles and colors, they can hang between trees or from a hammock stand, and they support two people very easily. Some of them come with rope supports that are mildew and rot resistant. The fabrics are often resistant to fading since they're in the sun a lot and they average about 55" in width providing plenty of space for two.

You can get a rope hammock, or a full fabric one, or even one with pillowtop cushioning. The level of comfort helps contribute to the ending price, with the rope hammocks generally being the cheapest at around $40. The highest quality ones generally cost just aboe $100. Overall this is an inexpensive way to setup a relaxing environment in your yard. They are especially perfect if you have created a bit of a tropical oasis with appropriate plants, a well manicured lawn and good shade trees.
